This compilation includes short stories by Stephen King, Chris Van Allsburg and Louis Sachar. Each story is uniquely told in its author's distinctive style. But it's the pictures that are the real stars here. This is a wonderful read for children, it is also a superb springboard for creative writing as children consider what really IS happening in these fantastical images.
