Subordinating conjunctions link a main clause (that makes sense on its own) to some extra information, a subordinate clause (that doesn't really make sense on its own). They can go at the front of a sentence, like with ISAWAWABUB or in the middle of your sentence, joining the two ideas together.
You need to use these in your writing as much as possible.
