Words of the week: ambitious verbs. Week beginning 09.10.23

This week, we have turned our attention in session to the wonderful world of English and VR. As part of our work on word classifications, we have been looking at vile verbs. This week's 'words of the week' are a collection of ambitious verbs that will impress anyone who happens to be listening and they are as follows: 

acquire - anticipate- acknowledge- arise- assume- admonish- appeal- assert- articulate- babble- berate- bestow- construct- cajole- concur- criticise- decay- decipher- disclose- declare 

You need to find out what these words mean and add them to your journals please. You also need to know how to spell them.
