Year 4 CHALLENGE! Week beginning 30.01.23 and 6.2.23

Year 4 students, you are cordially invited to participate in our 'Non-fiction Challenge.' Very soon, we will be looking at different types of non-fiction texts in our English lessons. To help with this, I would like you to collect as many examples of texts that... 

give information - - - - provide entertainment - - - - try to persuade you 

...as you can. These need to be as varied as possible, for example, don't bring in 4 pizza menu's (these give information AND persuade so do bring one of these.) Wherever you see a non-fiction text, for example, a newspaper, an 'ALDI Best Buys', a pamphlet for a new taxi rank, add it to your collection. Please bring your collection with you to your next session. 

The best collection will win a set of pens! Good luck and happy collecting.
