Angle facts. Week beginning 6th March 2023.

Angle facts need to be learned by heart as you will be expected to problem solve using circles, straight lines, right angles and various different shapes. As a complete geometry geek, I think that angles are awesome and fun (and pretty easy compared to some of the trickier things we cover) and I hope that you agree! 

You need to know that there are: 

90 degrees in a right angle 

180 degrees on a straight line 

360 degrees in a full turn 

30 degrees between the nubers on a clock 

360 degrees in every quadrilateral (4 sided shape) 

Acute are less than 90 degrees, obtuse are between 91 and 180 degrees and reflex are larger than 180 degrees but smaller than 360.
