Rounding numbers including millions and decimals. Year 5, week beginning 24.03.25

This week's learn by heart is all about rounding. You need to be able to round really, really big numbers and really, really small ones... and everything in between.

Remember, 'If it's 4 or below, let it flow; if it's five or above, give it a shove.' Whenever you're rounding decimals, think money. Rouding to the nearest whole number is just rounding to the nearest pound.

Rounding to the nearest tenth is rounding to the nearest 10p.
