Co-ordinates are lots of fun as well as being extremely useful in real life. If you want to explore the world or simply find the nearest McDonalds when on holiday, you'll need to be able to read a map and that's where co-ordinates come in. You will have learned basic co-ordinates in Year 3, and that's what this learn by heart is about- revision. The following games will help you revise the basics of co-ordinates so that we can move on to the 11+ standard in the next few weeks.
Remember- along the house THEN up the stairs! Horizontal then vertical!
