Old and New and Synonyms. Week beginning 13.06.22

This week, we are covering 2 sets of words from our Toucan books. 

Set 1: Synonyms: intelligent- clever, fraction- part, start- commence, point-tip, prejudice-bias, thrifty- frugal, forever-always, moist- damp, copy- mimic, obstinate-stubborn, surprise- amaze, giggle- chuckle. 

Set 2: modern, recent, ancient, antique, present, stale, fresh, previous, current, past, contemporary, aged.
