Recommended reads for children

Reading is so much more than words on a page- it’s exploring new lands, meeting new people and seeing the world from a different perspective. Through reading, children develop a wider vocabulary which fuels their confidence as writers. One of the most common questions I am asked is ‘How can I help my child prepare for the 11+/ SATs?’ and my response is always ‘Pick up a book.’ So here are a few recommendations, as well as reading lists, to help your child’s reading journey get underway. If you have any books that you’d like to recommend, please e-mail me using the contact form.
